PARIS and NEW YORK and SINGAPORE, Nov. 4, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- AMTD IDEA Group ("AMTD IDEA") (NYSE: AMTD; SGX: HKB) announces that AMTD IDEA Group is in advanced dialogue to acquire a third hotel in New York City.
AMTD IDEA earlier this year acquired the Hilton garden inn hotel in Tribeca for US$69 million with a completion of the transaction on March 4, 2026.
Subsequently, AMTD IDEA announced that it has been in final stage of process to acquire a 2nd hotel in New York ("2nd NY hotel"), subject to final negotiations and approvals by both the buyer and seller end.
Notwithstanding the outcome of the 2nd NY hotel, AMTD IDEA is in an advanced stage of negotiation to acquire another hotel in New York City. There is no certainty that this contemplated transaction will go through and its completion is subject to final negotiations and approvals by both the seller and the buyer, as well as customary conditions for closing.
