A new local home internet provider enters Eastern Connecticut with a simple promise for customers
HARTFORD, Conn., Oct. 26, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- welo, the internet provider built to challenge conventions, has launched today across Eastern Connecticut. By eliminating contracts and annual rate negotiations, welo is putting the power back where it belongs: in the hands of the customer.
"Home internet should be simple, without any surprises and affordable, which is why we offer price for life," said Steve Newsome, Head of Marketing for welo. "The response from our initial launch in Ohio, earning us high customer approval and a 4.9-star Google rating, shows that people are ready to command more from their provider. We're thrilled to launch in Connecticut today, and we're nowhere near done."
For too long, customers have been forced to tolerate the rigid, outdated practices of traditional internet providers. The Connecticut launch marks the latest phase of welo's expansion, reshaping home internet by eliminating friction points to deliver a no-hassle solution.
A simple promise
- Price for life. Affordable monthly prices stay the same forever, guaranteed. No deal expiration dates, no negotiation.
- All-digital, backed by humans. Life is too short to wait on hold. Customers can sign-up online in minutes and access fast 24/7 digital chat support handled by a real, US-based support team.
- No contracts. Zero long-term commitments, early termination penalties, or hidden equipment fees.
- Win-win energy. Sharing is caring. When a customer shares their unique referral code with a friend and that service is activated, welo drops a $100 credit into both accounts after 60 days.
To celebrate our launch, welo offers three high speed packages with exclusive rates that, true to our promise, will stay locked in forever:
- 300 Mbps download: $30/month
- 600 Mbps download: $35/month
- 1 Gig download: $40/month
