Once a customer connects their BambooHR account, the connection is available in every Claude conversation, and every answer is designed to respect the permissions that person already has in BambooHR.
The Claude connector continues a multi-year BambooHR effort to put AI where HR work actually happens. Customers already use Bamboo AI™ inside the product; the Claude connector carries the same data and the same permissions out to Claude, where much of the workday now takes place.

- Headcount and org questions: An HR admin can ask Claude how many employees are in each department, or group employees by location, manager, or custom field.

- Work that spans systems: An HR leader can ask for an email summarizing everyone who has not had a raise in two years, and Claude will pull the BambooHR data, draft the message, and cross-reference it against other systems the customer has connected.
