| The NCSBN Board of Directors (BOD) has appointed two individuals to serve on its board and another to serve on the Leadership Succession Committee (LSC). Adrian Guerrero, CPM, director of operations, Kansas State Board of Nursing, was appointed treasurer, filling the office vacated upon the election of Lori Schedit, MBA-HCM, executive director of the Missouri State Board of Nursing, as president. He previously served two terms in that position. Guerrero will hold this position until the 2027 NCSBN Delegate Assembly election. Kim Esquibel, PhD, MSN, MPA, RN, executive director, Maine State Board of Nursing, was appointed Area IV director to complete the term made vacant by the election of Barbara Blozen, EdD, MA, RN-BC, CNL, president of the New Jersey Board of Nursing, as president-elect. Esquibel will serve in this capacity until the 2027 NCSBN Delegate Assembly election. Additionally, Joey Ridenour, MN, RN, FAAN, executive director, Arizona State Board of Nursing, was appointed as the prior BOD member to the LSC. Her term will be completed in 2028. |
