Jack K. Mayfield, MD, MS, M.Div., former associate professor of orthopedic surgery at the University of Minnesota, received his AB/MD degrees from Indiana University, MS degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin, and M.Div. degree from Western/Phoenix Seminary. He practiced orthopedic surgery in Phoenix, Arizona, authored numerous scientific papers and chapters in orthopedic textbooks, and was a guest lecturer in science and theology at Phoenix Seminary and Grace School of Theology in Houston, Texas. His book Salvation and Christian Theology: A Comparation of Protestant Theological Systems explains the history and principles of Protestant theologies.
