CHESTERFIELD, Mo., Sept. 10, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Slick City Franchise Group, the world’s first indoor slide and air court franchise, today announced plans to open new locations in Gothenburg, Sweden and Vienna, Austria, as the brand continues its expansion across Europe. Both parks are being developed in partnership with Activeon, one of Europe’s leading indoor leisure groups, and are expected to open in late 2026. The announcement follows the opening of Slick City Nottingham, the brand’s first European park, earlier this year.

The approximately 4,500-square-meter Gothenburg park will be located at Åby Arena in Mölndal, one of the area’s landmark buildings. Its expansive footprint and high ceilings will provide an ideal setting for the large-scale slides and action-based attractions that define the Slick City experience. Expected to open later this year, the park will introduce Slick City to the Nordic market for the first time.

Activeon is also developing Austria’s first Slick City Action Park in Vienna. The approximately 4,700-square-meter park will be among the largest Slick City locations developed in Europe to date. The park will feature Slick City’s signature large-scale slides and other action-based attractions designed to engage children, teens and adults. It is expected to open later this year .

The Gothenburg and Vienna parks are the latest step in Slick City’s international expansion strategy. Activeon initially committed to developing at least 26 Slick City locations across the European Union and currently holds development rights in Norway, Sweden, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, Austria and the Netherlands.
