New York, NY, Aug. 25, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- SEDA Experts LLC, a leading expert witness firm providing world-class financial expert witness services, announced today that Dante Tosetti joined the firm as Managing Director.
“Dante brings expertise both from the perspective as a bank CEO and a bank examiner,” said Peter Selman, Managing Partner of SEDA Experts.
Dante Tosetti is a former Federal Reserve Bank Examiner and senior banking executive with over 25 years of experience in bank regulation, credit risk, regulatory compliance, commercial lending, and risk management. His expertise spans bank examinations, regulatory remediation, credit administration, fraud, BSA/AML, concentration risk, stress testing, and financial institution governance.
Mr. Tosetti most recently served as Chief Executive Officer of BAC Community Bank. Previously, he served as Chief Credit Officer at Beacon Business Bank, where he led the credit administration and note departments and oversaw lending and risk management activities from underwriting and approval through ongoing portfolio monitoring. He was responsible for credit-related policies and models, including model risk management, stress testing, and Current Expected Credit Losses (CECL) implementation. He also addressed matters arising from an Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) enforcement action involving credit administration, impairment analysis, concentration risk management, risk ratings, staffing, and related regulatory issues.
Earlier, Mr. Tosetti served as Regulatory Liaison at Liberty Bank, where he played a central role in remediation efforts that resulted in the bank’s release from a public enforcement action by the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco. His work included commercial real estate concentration risk management, stress testing, Bank Secrecy Act and anti-money laundering (BSA/AML) compliance, Regulation B, Regulation E, business continuity planning, Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) compliance, vendor management, policy, and strategic planning. He also acted as a principal point of contact between bank management and state and federal examiners during regulatory examinations.
Prior to joining Liberty Bank, Mr. Tosetti was a commissioned Bank Examiner with the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, where he led or participated in more than 40 safety and soundness examinations of community, regional, and large banks. As Examiner-in-Charge, he assessed banks’ financial condition, management, and risk management practices, with particular expertise in credit risk, loan review, concentration risk, and specialized lending.
Mr. Tosetti also advises financial institutions and legal counsel on regulatory compliance, risk management, fraud, and elder financial exploitation matters. His consulting experience includes assessing standards of ordinary care in connection with fraudulent activity in customer accounts, advising on regulatory and risk management matters, and assisting financial institutions and fintech companies with risk assessments, policy enhancements, process reviews, and higher-risk banking initiatives.
Mr. Tosetti holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Real Estate from the University of San Diego and graduated with honors from the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington, where he currently serves as a Management Report Advisor.
