Companies combine WATTMORE's Intellect Operate™ EMS/PPC/SCADA platform with Eos' Z3™ technology to simplify deployment in a fully integrated solution
DENVER and PITTSBURGH, Aug. 24, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- WATTMORE, Inc, a Colorado-based energy intelligence technology company and Eos Energy Enterprises, Inc. (NASDAQ: EOSE) (Eos), America's leading innovator in designing, manufacturing, and providing zinc-based long-duration energy storage (LDES) systems sourced and manufactured in the United States, today announced a non-exclusive strategic software and hardware collaboration agreement that combines WATTMORE's patented Intellect Operate EMS/PPC/SCADA platform with Eos' Z3 long-duration energy storage systems.
As part of this agreement, Eos has committed to deploy WATTMORE's Intellect Operate Energy Management System (EMS) and Power Plant Controller (PPC) for select customer projects and support integration of WATTMORE's EMS platform with Eos' DawnOS™ and Z3 technology. Designed, engineered, and operated by WATTMORE's Denver-based team, the platform combines FEOC- and BABA-compliant hardware with Intellect Operate software to provide a pre-integrated controls option for Eos customers. The collaboration expands the controls ecosystem around Eos' Z3 systems, helping streamline deployment while supporting Eos' strategy of delivering more complete energy storage solutions around its technology.
"Energy storage systems depend on battery technology, controls, and software working together as a single operating environment," said Jonathan W. Postal (JW), WATTMORE's Founder and CEO. "Our collaboration with Eos brings together complementary capabilities across those layers, creating a stronger foundation for customers."
Eos and WATTMORE will integrate Intellect Operate with Eos' DawnOS and Z3 systems. DawnOS provides battery-level monitoring, control, and optimization for Z3 systems, while WATTMORE's software manages system dispatch, energy optimization, and grid interaction. Completing integration upfront creates a repeatable model and simplified path from project design to deployment.
"Customers are looking for integrated solutions that reduce complexity and simplify deployment," said Nathan Kroeker, Chief Commercial Officer of Eos. "Eos can interface with a range of energy management systems, and our work with WATTMORE adds another option for customers. As our pipeline continues to grow across utility, data center, microgrid, and other large-scale applications, this integration strengthens our ability to deliver complete energy storage solutions across a growing range of customer applications."
WATTMORE and Eos have previously partnered on large-scale projects, including most recently a 3 MW/12 MWh energy storage project for the Nebraska utility Lincoln Electric System. The project combined Eos' Z3 technology and WATTMORE's controls platform to support grid reliability while establishing the approach and scalability of the integrated solution.
