BOSTON, Feb. 10, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Galecto, Inc. (NASDAQ: GLTO), a biopharmaceutical company focused on developing novel therapeutics to redefine the treatment paradigm for people living with blood cancers, today announced that it has commenced an underwritten public offering of shares of its common stock and, in lieu of common stock to certain investors that so choose, Series C non-voting convertible preferred stock. All of the securities are being offered by Galecto. In addition, Galecto intends to grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase additional shares of its common stock. Each share of Series C preferred stock will be convertible into 1,000 shares of common stock at the election of the holder, subject to beneficial ownership conversion limits applicable to the Series C preferred stock.
